Megan

Erin

Megan graduated from Florida State University and moved straight to Massachusetts to attend the Boston Architectural College where she earned a Masters in Interior Design. After working in a few different Interior Design firms she sought out a new path where she could explore branding in environments. She worked for several years as a Creative Director at a creative events agency, leading all aspects of design including conceptual ideas, creative strategy, media elements and environmental design. It is there she gained an understanding of how impactful a brand experience can be, witnessing hearts swell and emotions rise at many events. After longing to create more lasting and permanent brand experiences, she connected with Erin and Ulterior was born.

Favorite artists & designers

Karim Rashid     I admire work that makes me think differently. I recently heard him speak at a conference posing a question that really got me thinking, why hasn’t the design of our environments caught up with the digital advancements we have seen over the last 10 years? Great question...

Yabu Pushelberg   Simply stunning work; polished, modern, delicate and refined.

Edwin Catmull from Pixar   I’m currently reading Creativity, Inc. and I find his leadership style inspiring. It’s also a company of really passionate designers who want to change and evolve their medium.

About me

world traveler   cat mom   adventure seeker   art history enthusiast   Seminole fan

Erin is optimistic and outgoing, an artist, travel lover, breaker of motonony and unicorn fan with an infectious laugh, who always has her nails done. Erin graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego and after living in New York City soul searching decided to go back to school. She graduated from the Boston Architectural College with a Masters in Interior Design. She worked in a few different Interior Design firms, most recently as a traveling designer doing renovations and rebranding of apartment communities. In this fast-paced job she learned about all phases of project management from demolition to construction of both interior and exterior work. Though her office location was never the same week to week she formed a passion for the one constant - the importance of branding in the communities she designed. Signage, common spaces, business and fitness centers down to the individual units required a lens of consistency that would impact the way buyers experienced the spaces.
